A specialized dry product for dietary therapeutic nutrition of children with tyrosinemia in their first year of life – Nutrigen 14 -tyr, -phe

Indications for use:

The product is intended for dietary therapeutic nutrition of children with tyrosinemia in their first year of life.

Important:

Use strictly as recommended by your doctor! The product cannot be used as a sole source of nutrition. For patients with tyrosinemia only. The product is introduced into the diet gradually over 10-14 days. Initial doses of the product are 1/5-1/10 of the required daily amount. The amount of specialized product per feeding is determined by the doctor depending on the age, body weight and clinical condition of the child.

Directions for use:

Add the specialized product to every meal. If you have breast milk, combine the required amount of the product diluted with water with expressed breast milk, the amount of which is determined by your doctor. If you do not have breast milk, add the required volume of ready-made infant formula to the amount of product diluted with water calculated by your doctor. The total volume of food should correspond to the child’s age.

Recommended dilution: 1 level scoop (~3.8 g) of product and 25 ml of water

Boil all utensils intended for feeding the baby for at least 5 minutes.
Pour the required amount of boiled water, cooled to 40-45°C, into the prepared bottle.
Add the required number of level scoops of product to a bottle of water, sweeping off any excess with the back of a knife.
After closing the bottle, shake until the powder is completely dissolved. Check the temperature of the finished mixture on the inside of your wrist.

Prepare the mixture immediately before each feeding. Never use leftover mixture for subsequent feeding!

Storage:

Before opening the package, store the product at a temperature of 0 to 25°C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%. After opening the package, store the product tightly closed in the refrigerator for no more than 3 weeks.
